The dredger is powered by one v16 twin supercharged Detroit GM diesel engine with 1194 kW diesel electric power plant the provides power for propulsion and one v16 Detroit diesel engine power plant for the pumps.
The CRANE is quipped with a PDS1000 dredging package, integrated with DGPS and depth indicator equipment.
